HOW TO SET UP A FIRE WALL ON ICQ.
(ALSO THE WAY TO CHANGE/SPOOF YOUR IP# ON ICQ)

Steps-
1.	First open your ICQ.
2.	Now that its opened, but not connected to the
	net I want you click your "ICQ" button and go
	up to where it says Prefrences.
3.	When the next window comes up, I want you to 
	click the Tab for "Connection"
4.	Now I want you to check the circle for- "Im
	using a permanent internet connection (LAN)"
5.	Now check the circle for- "I am behind a fire-
	wall proxy"
6.	Now click the button that says "Firewall
	settings"
7.	When the next window comes up I want you to
	check the circle that says "Im using a SOCKS 4
	proxy"
8.	(Optional) you can check the box that says
	"Firewall sessions time out after, and choose
	after how many seconds your firewall will go
	off.  (I never really use this)
9.	Click the button "next"
10.	Where it says SOCKS 4 HOST, there you can put
	any IP # you want, OR you can put a specific
	IP so that it is a "firewall"
11.	Where it says SOCKS 4 PORT, this must ALWAYS!
	be 4000.
12.	Now make sure the circle for "Open an outgoing
	UDP port 4000 on my firewall"
13.	Click the "next" button.
14.	By now you should have a menu up that says
	"check my firewall/proxy settings" so click
	that button. (You must be connected to the net,
	but your ICQ must be "offline")
15.	Where it says "status" and the comes up saying
	"Success" now click the button that says "DONE"
16.	Then click the button "OKAY"
17.	Now just connect to ICQ,  
18.	Click the ICQ button, go up to "(UN)Register/
	Listings" then goto "View/Change my listings"
	If you did everything correctly your new IP #
	should read what ever you put.

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!-
When your firewall is up, that makes it very difficult
for you as well as your friends to send you ICQ messages
and in order to do so, when you send a message, you must
wait untill it comes up saying "could not send directly"
and click the button marked "send through server"  Also
when your fire wall is up, you cannot- do file transfers,
chat, or send a URL over ICQ.  To do those three things
you must NOT have a firewall up.

TO TAKE YOUR FIREWALL OFF-
Steps-
1.	Click the ICQ button and goto prefrences.
2.	Click the connection tab.
3.	Now just click the circle "I am using a modem
	(or any other dial up device)"
4.	Click the "okay" button
5.	You may need to disconnect, then reconnect ICQ
	in order for your settings to take place.

NOTE!-
If your not sure if your firewall is off, just click
the ICQ button, go up to "(UN)Register/Listings" then
goto "View/Change my listings" If you did everything
correctly your OLD IP # should read what ever you put.

GOOD IP #'S TO USE-
0.0.0.0		Use this if you want your IP # to come
		up blank.
7.7.7.7		I use this for my ICQ UIN of Dbl_0_Se7en
